There was a great crowd and a big party later that evening in Anderson. There were a lot of great stories about people, big matches, big games, and concerts. I found out yesterday that the Black Eyed Peas played in Anderson and that in 1963 the BGSU Men's Basketball team beat Loyola (92-75) who was ranked #2 in nation at the time. In fact, Loyola won the National Title that year. So much history in this building. It was a good time reminiscing about the great times in Anderson.
Check back later this week for more updates! ROLL ALONG!
Madi and her boyfriend, Jeff posing for a picture in front of the Hollywood sign at the Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles.
Jeff came out to California for a week and a half to spend some quality Christmas time with the Nitta family.
Jeff and Madi's Christmas present - a bulldog! We wish. (One of the three bulldogs we saw in one day.)
Madi posed for a picture before heading down to her sit next to the stage at the People's Choice Awards at Nokia Live.
Now that is truly awesome!
What do
Laura Avila,
Lindsey Butterfield,
Libby Dachenhaus, and
Kaitlyn Skinner all have in common (besides being Falcons)? They all had 4.0’s this past fall. CONGRATULATIONS! As a matter of fact we had 9 players with GPA’s this fall of 3.66 or higher. We are well on our way to our 11 consecutive AVCA Team Academic Award. This team put a lot of hard work in both the gym and the classroom this fall. CONGRATS again to our 4.0 students!
Congratulations Ashley Herzberg on being named to the 2010 Academic All-MAC Team! She was one of 18 student-athletes selected by the faculty athletic representatives of the 12 MAC institutions. Herzberg played in 31 of our 32 matches this year, was a primary passer, and finished with 130 digs. Ashley is one of the hardest workers on the team and it showed both on the court and in the classroom. Herzberg is a Nursing major and has a cumulative GPA of 3.94! That is awesome! With her athleticism and work ethic, she definitely earned this honor. Congrats again Ashley!
