Enters her 29th season in 2011 as head coach of the Bowling Green State University volleyball program. Van De Walle is the winningest coach in conference history and has built a program that ranks as one of the best in the MAC and Midwest.

- Three MAC Championships, two East Division Championships, a MAC Tournament Championship, an NCAA appearance and a second place finish in the 1992 National Invitational Championships (NIVC)- 508 Division I wins!
- 2007 received USA Volleyball George J. Fisher Leader in Volleyball Award!
- Coached Athletes in Action in Hong Kong, China, Japan, South Africa, and South America
- Served as the President of the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA)
- 1991 & 1993 U.S. Olympic Festival Volleyball Coach
- Assistant Coach to the USA Women’s National Sitting Volleyball Team that won a Silver Medal in the 2008 Beijing Olympics!
